ROANOKE, Va.—
A man told Roanoke Police that he was shot by a masked man while sitting in a car on Thursday night.
The man says he was in a car in the 2700 block of Melrose Avenue around 8:10 p.m. Thursday night when a man pulled a gun on him.
The 26-year-old victim told police that he was shot by the masked man, and then the suspected shooter ran away. The victim says that the shooter was trying to rob him.
The victim drove to the 2800 block of Melrose Avenue and called police.
