ROANOKE COUNTY, Va.—
They call it the cleanest fun you can have in a 5-K race!
The 17th annual Marine Corp Mud Run was today at Greenhill Park in Roanoke County.
More than 100 runners went more than 3-miles and eventually had to take the plunge and made their way through the mud pits.
And a big crowd was on hand to cheer the runners onto the finish line.
The run honors the military and veterans in our area, and is a fundraiser for Toys For Tots.
