UPDATED 4:00 P.M.
State Police Investigators tell News 7 they don't believe Audrey Marie McCombs was abducted. However, investigators point out she is only 16 years old, not the age of consent.
State Police haven't issued an amber alert because they don't believe she was abducted.
Investigators spent most of the day investigating a sighting of Grubbs. They've now say that tip turned out to be nothing.
Authorities are concerned because they have received very few tips or sightings of either Audrey McCombs or the man she is believed to be with, 47 year old Earnest Grubbs.
State Police say 7 special agents are actively working this case.
State Police have contacted the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children to help bring Audrey McCombs home safe.
We're told Audrey's family is holding up well but very concerned about her safety.
McCombs is a sophomore at Liberty High School. Classes weren't held today because it was Election Day.

State Police confirm to News 7 there has been a possible sighting of Earnest Grubbs. Cpt. George Austin declined to name the location of the sighting but said it wasn't from this area. Cpt. Austin calls this a credible sighting.
Cpt. Austin says there has been no sighting of missing Audrey Marie McCombs. She is 16 and from Bedford County.
