The race at Martinsville Speedway is more than four months away. Tickets are already on sale for the Sprint Cup Virginia 500.
It's one of the earliest times the speedway has ever pushed ticket sales.
Track President Clay Campbell says fewer tickets were sold in previous years and increased slightly this year.
Since the downturn of the economy, empty seats are a slowly growing trend in the sport so by starting in the gift giving season, he's hoping for a packed stadium in April.
"It's such a great stocking stuffer. I mean you can get the tickets now and we like to say one size fits all," said Speedway President Clay Campbell.
Tickets for the Virginia 500 start at $37 and are available on the speedway's website.
