Meet the songwriters behind some of your favorite country songs this weekend. Four of Nashville's songwriters will perform Saturday night to raise money for the Buchanan Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry in Botetourt county.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
This won't be your typical concert. The show will be performed as a Nashville-style song writers round. Each artist will play their song, describing how it came about.
Leading the cause is songwriter, Matt Ramsey, originally from Buchanan. Ramsey will be joined by Trevor Rosen, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins. The group has written songs for artists such as Kenny Chesney, Chris Young, Jake Owen, Steve Holy, The Band Perry, among others.
ABOUT BAMA
The Buchanan Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) started in 2010, and has has distributed at more than $77,000 worth of food to nearly 2,000 residents across Botetourt county.
The entire mission is run by volunteers and and receives monetary and food donations from area churches,
