MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va.—
Here's a traffic alert for drivers in Montgomery County.
Starting Sunday night, there will be a detour set up on part of Interstate 81.
Construction crews are building a truck climbing lane.
From 10:00 p.m. Sunday until 6:00 a.m. Monday, traffic headed north will get off the highway in Christiansburg at exit 118.
Drivers will head up Route 11 and back onto the highway at Dixie Caverns. or exit 132.
This detour will be set up every night at the same time until the work is finished.
