We spoke with one lawn care company that said getting lawns ready for winter will make them green for spring.
Aerating your lawn now is a cost effective way to get it ready.
Buying southern style grass seed is best because it grows well in the soil in our area. But there's one tip that lawn care professionals say is most important.
"It is very important that you do get your leaves off your ground and not let them lay on your property over the season said Robbie Jones of Fresh Cuts Lawn Care.
Lawn care professionals say the more clear you keep your yard, the quicker it will be ready once the warmer weather comes.
