Route 60 in Amherst County is closed after a logging truck crashed Wednesday.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the accident is about four miles east of Buena Vista. Route 60 in that area is expected to be closed for several hours. Traffic is being detoured around the site.
VDOT says that large trucks are waiting near the wreck so they can pass through.
Roads in that part of Amherst County are slick, VDOT says.
