Pecha Kucha comes to one hometown

Wednesday night was the first Pecha Kucha in Southwest Virginia.

What is it? It's Japanese for chit-chat and business and technology leaders come together to give informal Power Points.

It's been done all over the world and across America.

The catch, they only get 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide, so it becomes almost a game to see who can do it best.

About fifty people came out for the event.

Topics included paintball, locally-owned coffee shops and community art.

The next Pecha Kucha is in April.
