A person was killed in an early-morning fire Thursday in Patrick County.
A neighbor reported the fire at 58 Steele Farm Lane in Patrick Springs around 1:16 a.m.
The person who died was the only one inside the single-wide trailer.
Investigators believe a cigarette sparked the fire.
The fire was out in about 40 minutes.
The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office is waiting on autopsy results to identify the victim.
