FRANKLIN County, Va—
A hometown dog is getting international attention. Her name is "Lily" and the pit bull is starring in ads for the Uttermost Company, which sells rugs, wall decor, lamps and accessories. One of the reasons she was chosen? Her coat matches many of the rugs. We spoke with the company’s owner Mac Cooper.
“Lily was the perfect candidate. She handles it extremely well,” he said.
Lily is currently at the Humane Society in Franklin County. The owner of Uttermost is a loyal supporter of the facility and that's how he met Lily.We're told a police officer in Roanoke plans to adopt her.
