The Poff Federal Building in Roanoke is closed Monday and Tuesday after the U.S. General Services Administration determined that brick veneer on the west-facing facade must be removed.
According to the GSA, the concrete underneath the veneer is structurally sound.
The GSA says it has notified tenants of the Poff Building about the issue, and says it will “remain in communication with tenants and the public regarding the building status.”
