Police: Robber fires shot during robbery in Danville

Danville Police are looking for two violent robbers.

They held up "The Stop By Food Store" on West Main Street in Danville around 10:30 Tuesday night.

One of the robbers had a gun, and he fired it once inside the store and once outside while they were leaving with a wad of cash.

Police say they also assaulted the clerk, but officers haven't said how the robbers hurt that person.

The clerk was hurt, but not badly.
