President of Franklin Community Bank dies in car crash Sunday morning

We now know more about a local man who died in a car wreck.

A worker at Franklin Community Bank in Franklin County says Larry Heaton was the first and only president of that bank.

Heaton lived in Collinsville.

He died around 11:15 Sunday morning when his car went off of Route Eight in Patrick County and slammed into a tree.

State Police say he was not wearing his seatbelt.
