It was "Super Saturday" for Republicans as they kicked their campaign into high gear in Roanoke County.
Volunteers at the Romney- Goodlatte- Allen office prepared to get the word out.
Congressman Bob Goodlatte says people want a change. He says it's a change Republican Mitt Romney can bring as President. And, to that end, Goodlatte says he's not surprised the Commonwealth will once again be a battleground state.
"Virginia voters should know that if they get involved in this election process here, they're not just making a difference in Virginia, they'll make a difference nationwide. They'll make a difference in the outcome of the presidential race, and you don't always get an opportunity to do that everyplace you are, but Virginia is a key state," said Congressman Bob Goodlatte, (R) 6th District.
Until the last election, Virginia went Republican in every US Presidential race for nearly four decades.
