A reward fund has been set up for information about a double murder in Bassett last May.
On May 23, 2011, the bodies of 33-year-old Robert Lawrence and 31-year-old Amanda Massey were found inside of a car that was set on fire.
Massey and Lawrence were reported missing nearly a week before their charred bodies were found on May 23.
A reward fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank in Bassett for information about Massey and Lawrence's deaths.The account is under the name "Special Reward Fund for Robby Lawrence and Amanda Massey."
The fund was made possible by friends, family, and members of "God's House of Prayer," according to a news release.
The announcement about the fund was made Tuesday at a news conference at the Henry County Sheriff's Office.
