The Roanoke City Courthouse has re-opened.

12:25 p.m. update: No bombs were found following a threat Thursday morning at the Roanoke City Courthouse.

The Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Clerk’s Office received the threat at 9:14 a.m., and was immediately reported to the Sheriff’s Office.

The courthouse was then evacuated.

The K-9 unit arrived and searched each floor of the courthouse, but no bombs were detected.

The Roanoke Police Department is investigating the threat.

10:08 a.m.: The Roanoke City Courthouse is being evacuated because of a bomb threat. WDBJ7 just talked to Aisha Johnson who is the Roanoke City Police Public Information Officer. She tells us that after the building is evacuated, it will be searched.

Several streets were closed in that area, but they've now re-opened.
