ROANOKE Co., Va.—
A recycling center has been moved after complaints from a Roanoke County school.
People can now recycle plastic and paper at the Brambleton Center.
The recycling bin used to be at Hidden Valley High School. But people kept leaving trash around it.
Roanoke County hopes the new location will stop that. The bins do get full pretty quickly.
The county recommends you break down any boxes and compact plastics before you throw them in the bin.
"If people would take the time to do that it would really help their fellow citizens when they get here and then they'd have room to put their stuff in there too," says Ann Marie Green with Roanoke County.
Roanoke County plans to add road signs directing people to the new location.
