Freddie Fralin suffers from dementia and was last seen Wednesday morning (March 28, 2012)

A missing man with dementia has been located.

66-year-old Freddie Fralin was found around noon Thursday near the Valley Metro bus station in downtown Roanoke.

A Valley Metro employee spotted Fralin and called police.

According to a news release, Fralin was in good shape and has been reunited with his family.

Fralin had been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Roanoke County investigators believe that a missing man with dementia may be in the Vinton area.

66-year-old Freddie Fralin was last seen near the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Electric Road in the Tanglewood area before noon Wednesday.

Police believe Fralin boarded a Valley Metro bus near the mall, and then got off the bus at the First Citizens Bank on Hardy Road in Vinton around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Fralin was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt with "Reston South" lettering on the front.

Police have new information regarding the search for 66-year-old Freddie Fralin - a missing Roanoke County man with dementia. Police believe he may now be in the Vinton area.
       
Fralin was last seen leaving the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Electric Road near Tanglewood Mall shortly before noon yesterday (Wed., March 28). With the public’s help, police have determined that shortly after leaving the restaurant Fralin boarded a Valley Metro bus in the vicinity of the mall. He then exited the bus at the First Citizens Bank on Hardy Road in Vinton around 12:45 p.m. Police have now shifted the focus of their search to this area. 

Fralin was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt with Reston South in white lettering on the front, dark colored pants, black shoes, and a dark colored baseball cap.

Fralin is an elderly black male, who is balding with salt and pepper hair, approximately 6'0" tall, 180 pounds, and has a thick mustache. 

Anyone who sees Fralin should call their local police department or Roanoke County Officer R. Torres at 540-562-3265.

Freddie W. Fralin was last seen at the Kentucky Fried Chicken along the 4000 block of Electric Road just before noon on Wednesday.

The 66 year old was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt with "Reston South" written on it, dark colored pants, black shoes and a dark colored baseball cap.

Fralin is a black male with salt and pepper hair and a thick mustache.  He stands 6' tall and weighs around 180lbs.

Anyone who sees Mr. Fralin should call their local police department or Roanoke County Police Officer R. Torres at 540-562-3265.
