ROANOKE COUNTY, Va.—
Roanoke County police will be training for a mass shooting scenario Friday. The drill was scheduled in October, long before last week's shooting in Connecticut.
Expect to see a heavy police presence at Glenvar Middle and High Schools in the morning hours.
The Roanoke County Police Department says the scenario is an active shooter training exercise. The department says neighbors around the school have been made aware of the training.
