The incident happened around 8 p.m. Monday in the 1,000 block of Hunt Avenue.
The delivery driver told police that when he went to the house to make a delivery, he was approached by two men. One of the men had a knife.
The man told police the men beat him up and took his money.
The victim was not stabbed, but had to be treated for his injuries.

The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on February 13, 2012. Officers responded at 7:59 p.m. to the 1000 block of Hunt Avenue. Upon arrival officers located a delivery driver for China Lite Restaurant.
The adult male victim stated that he went to the 1000 block of Hunt Avenue to make a delivery. When he arrived he stated that he was approached by two suspects. The victim stated that he was assaulted, and one of the suspects then brandished a knife while the other suspect took his money.
The victim stated that he was assaulted again before both suspects then fled. The victim was physically assaulted and not stabbed, and was treated at the scene by Roanoke Fire/EMS crews. No arrests have been made. The suspects are described as two black males, possibly between 20 and 25 years old. One suspect was approximately five feet four inches tall and had a thin mustache. The other suspect was described as being slightly taller with no facial hair. Both were described as wearing all black clothing, which included black hooded sweatshirts. Crime Line may offer a monetary reward for any information leading to an arrest.
