A man is recovering after partially falling down an 85 foot embankment.
On Thursday, rescue crews were called to the intersection of Wasena and Bluemont just before 5 p.m.
Crews used a haul back system to bring the man and rescuers to safety.
The rescue took 35 minutes.
The patient suffered non-life threatening injuries and hypothermia.
I heard a woman fell down on Electric Rd. maybe they are related?
Any guesses as to why or how the man fell? Did he crawl over the retaining wall? Was he drunk? Did he have Life Alert to summon authorities?
