Our large dome of desert-like heat will continue over the region for the next several days. Winds coming off the mountains last night actually warmed us up few degrees after midnight.

Today, we anticipate temperatures to get several degrees hotter than Thursday's highs, ranging from 95-102 degrees across the region, with the hottest air in the cities and cooler numbers along the higher elevations.

Keep check of your body, it will tell you when it's had enough of the heat. Be safe out there!
