The Roanoke Police Department has released surveillance pictures of the robbery.

Roanoke police are looking for a man who robbed a Dollar General store at gunpoint.

Officers say a man went into the store in the 2300 block of Orange Avenue at about eight o'clock Tuesday night. They say he took out a gun and demanded cash, then took off after he got it.

No one was hurt.

The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a business robbery that occurred on November 27, 2012.  Officers responded at 7:59 pm to the Dollar General located in the 2300 block of Orange Avenue, NE.  A suspect entered the business brandished a firearm and demanded money.  No one was hurt.
The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled.  No arrests have been made.  The suspect is described as a white male with a mustache and red bandanna on his face.  He was wearing a brown leather jacket blue jeans and white tennis shoes.  Anyone with information should contact the Roanoke Police Department at 5408535959 or Crime Line at 5403448500.  Crime Line may offer a monetary reward for any information leading to an arrest.
