It happened around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Tillett Road and Guilford Avenue.

As the girl was walking to the bus stop a man apparently asked her “Can you do me a favor?” The girl did not respond and kept on walking. That’s when the man asked “Can you get in the truck and help me start it?”

The girl told police she ran home and called 911.

The man is described as being in his late 40s to early 50s, 6 feet tall, and weighing about 250 pounds. He was also wearing what appeared to be prescription glasses.
