Symphony announced it's starting its 59th year, debt free.
Wednesday morning, it not only announced it's debt- free.
But, that its efforts to balance its budget and start saving were a success as well.
The board president said it expected to meet its 250- thousand dollar fundraising goal.
Music director and conductor David Wiley says that really speaks to the community's support of the symphony.
"We are continually focused on education and outreach, and so the community has said we believe in what your doing, we believe in your plan and your fiscal responsbiility and by entrusting us with their support they're sending a message," says Wiley.
The group also announced it extended Wiley's contract.
He's now onboard until 2016.
