Roanoke woman facing charges for stabbing man
A Roanoke woman has been arrested for stabbing a man early Sunday morning.

Police say they found a man with stab wounds on the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue shortly after midnight.

40-year-old Teresa Seagraves of Roanoke has been charged with malicious wounding. Seagraves was still at the scene when police got there.

Investigators say the stabbing was not random.

The Roanoke Police Department has made an arrest in an aggravated assault that occurred on May 13, 2012.  Officers responded at 12:14 a.m. to the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue.  Upon arrival they located an adult male who was stabbed.  He was identified as Terry Eugene Gray, age 45 of Roanoke.  Mr. Gray was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Officers also located an adult female at the scene.  Through the course of the investigation it was determined that the female was the suspect.  She was identified as Teresa Elizabeth Seagraves, age 40 of Roanoke.  Ms. Seagraves was arrested and charged with malicious wounding. This incident is not random in nature.
