Using family's birthdays for numbers, Roanoke woman wins $100,000 on Cash 5 ticket

Using her family's birthdays as numbers, a Roanoke woman matched all five numbers on a Virginia Lottery Cash 5 ticket to win $100,000.

Ermelinda Callweng won the June 23 drawing using the numbers  6-15-16-27-29. She bought the ticket at the Kroger on Electric Road in Roanoke County.

Callweng's husband noticed the winning numbers after checking online, and started banging on a table because he was so excited.

Callweng says she and her husband plan to use the money to save for retirement.
