RUSTBURG, Va.—
A little boy in Campbell County is gaining national attention for a story that has touched many hearts.
Nathan Norman was featured on the January 19 edition of "CBS This Morning." Nathan is a six-year-old suffering from a deadly type of brain cancer.
Last September, his mom asked him in advance what he wanted for Christmas. Nathan told her all he wanted was a few cards from police or fireman.
As we've reported here on WDBJ7, members of law enforcement from all over the world caught wind of Nathan's request. They're not only sending cards, they're also showing up to greet Nathan at the Norman house in Rustburg.
The secret service has invited the Norman family to the inauguration, to ride in a limousine in the parade behind the President.
