A Roanoke Valley business is the first in the state to offer a high-performance electric motorcycle.
Frontline Eurosports of Salem is now selling battery-charged bikes from Zero Motorcycles.
The bikes reach speeds of 88 miles per hour and plug into any outlet.
"So the sport mode will give you the fun thrills that you're looking for out of the bike. The eco gives you a little bit more regeneration of the battery, so that it utilizes it's own charging system to charge itself," salesperson Nate Jennings said.
The eco-friendly motorcycles range from $7,600 to $14,000.
