Roanoke College security and Salem police are looking for a flasher.
The incident happened 8 p.m. Monday night near the Life Science building and Market Street parking lot.
A female student told police that a man exposed himself.
The woman told police that she was approached by a man as she entered the Life Science building from the Market Street parking lot.
After the man reportedly exposed himself, the female student immediately told the suspect she was calling police, and pulled out her cell phone. The woman says that the man then ran toward Main Street.
He is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, about six-feet tall and 200 pounds. The woman said the suspect had dark unkempt hair, was wearing a dark green jacket, a dark T-shirt, and white pants.
Roanoke College sent out a Maroon Alert to notify students about the incident.
