ROANOKE COUNTY, Va.—
A new campaign and website in the Roanoke and New River Valleys hopes to help you save a ton on energy costs.
The campaign called "Do a Little, Save a Ton" kicked off Wednesdayday morning. The effort includes a website that offers on-stop shopping for energy saving ideas around the house and for your vehicle. "It will have a calculator" Ann Marie Green told News7 "so that people can figure out what's my most cost effective thing to do. If I do this, how much will I save?" Green is Director of General Services for Roanoke County, one of the campaign's partner agencies.
