UPDATED: Grayson County teen police were looking for has been found

UPDATED 10 a.m. Friday: A teen that the Galax County Sheriff's Office had been looking for has been found.

Sheriff Richard Vaughan says the boy is a person of interest in a house fire.

He was found near Little River Road in Baywood, less than a mile from Baywood school.

Investigators say the boy made a shelter under a timber lap pipe.

The Galax Police Department is joining the Grayson County Sheriff's Office with locating a teen.

The boy was last seen Thursday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. in the Baywood area.

The Galax Gazette is reporting that he was walking away from his parents' home, which caught fire a short time later.
