Funeral arrangements have been made for Master Trooper J.A. Walker.
His wake will be held on Monday, March 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m.
Both services will be at Good Shepherd Baptist Church. That's located at 2223 South Crater Road in Petersburg, Virginia.

A Dinwiddie County prosecutor says she will seek the death penalty against the man charged in the shooting death of a Virginia state trooper.
Commonwealth's Attorney Lisa Caruso announced her intentions Friday at Russell Ervin Brown's arraignment. The 28-year-old Chesterfield County man is charged with capital murder in Thursday's slaying of 63-year-old Master Trooper Junius Walker.
According to media reports, Brown said in court that he expects to be executed.
Attorney Joseph Teete was appointed to represent Brown, whose next court appearance is March 18.

Gov. Bob McDonnell says a trooper involved in a shooting along Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County has died.
McDonnell says 40-year state police veteran Master Trooper Junius Walker was shot while on duty on Thursday.
Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says Walker was shot multiple times around 1:30 p.m.
He called for backup, and a trooper who arrived within two minutes saw a male suspect shooting into Walker's car.
The second trooper fired at the suspect, who fled into the woods on foot.
The suspect was arrested before 2 p.m. Charges are pending.
Geller says authorities are working to determine if another suspect was involved in the shooting, near the 45-mile marker.
A portion of the interstate remains closed while police investigate.

Virginia State Police responded to a call Thursday about a trooper who was shot off I-85 in Dinwiddie County.
According to a press release from the Virginia State Police, a call came in at 1:20 p.m. Thursday about shots being fired. A trooper found a marked patrol car in the woods off the right side of the southbound lanes of I-85 near the 45 mile marker.
When the responding trooper arrived, he saw a man standing outside the patrol car and shooting into it. The trooper shot at the suspect, who took off into the woods on foot, heading away from the interstate.
Around 1:58 p.m., the man was caught by the Dinwiddie County Sheriff's office and is now in state police custody.
The trooper inside was shot and has been transported to MCV Hospital in Richmond. His name and condition are not being released at this time.
Southbound I-85 is closed for crime scene processing. Southbound traffic is being detoured off I-85 at exit 48/De Witt. The southbound lanes will remain closed for several more hours.

4:54 p.m. Thursday: Virginia State Police say a trooper has been shot off of Interstate 85 and a suspect is in custody.
State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller told media outlets the trooper exchanged gunfire with the suspect Thursday afternoon. The trooper was taken to the hospital.
