Kathy Perdue of the Roanoke Valley SPCA introduced viewers to Sir Buttons on News 7 Saturday morning.
Sir Buttons is a 3-year-old Tuxedo Kitty who came to the RVSPCA as a stray.
Sir Buttons is a large cat, very friendly and easy going.
He prefers to spend his days laying in the window sill or on someone’s lap.
He tolerates small dogs and children.
He has tested positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.
FIV results in a compromised immune system.
Sir Buttons should be the only cat in the household and must be kept strictly indoors.
The virus cannot be transmitted to humans.
