ROANOKE, Va.—
From Tinseltown to the Star City.Furniture from Michael Jackson's home has arrived in Roanoke.
Grand Home Furnishings purchased some special furniture at an estate auction in December.
The armoire and other items belonged to Jackson.
The shipment arrived by truck this morning.
It included a mirror with a hand-written message by Jackson to himself.
It reads, "Train, perfection, March, April, full out May."
The motivational reminder refers to Jackson's preparation for a London tour that was in the planning stages when he died.
"We were really excited about it coming," said Grand Vice President Robert Bennett. "It's been traveling all the way from Los Angeles. We bought it in December and it's been a long anticipated month.
"It's a part of history and we're just glad to be able to share it with everybody."
All of the furniture will be unveiled to the public on Saturday morning at Grand's Valley View store at 10:15 a.m.
