Some streets in Bedford will lose power early Sunday morning

Some people in Bedford should expect to lose electricity for a few hours early Sunday morning.

The City of Bedford's electric department has scheduled some equipment repairs from Saturday at midnight until Sunday at 4 am. It's meant to allow the electrical system to handle more power.

Here's a list of the streets that will be in the dark during that time:

Liberty Street
E Main St to Orange St
Otey Street
Bridge Street
South Street
South Bridge St
Washington Street
King Street
Court Street
Cook Street
West Depot to Market St
Federal Street

Traffic lights on these streets will be off during the outage.
