While most kids are dressing up and going trick or treating for Halloween, some can't make it out Wednesday because they're in the hospital.

The doctors and nurses at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital want to make those kids get to celebrate.

So, the staff in the children's ward got dressed up and brought Halloween to them.
Sean Chase said his favorite part of Halloween is "Probably going through my neighborhood getting candy and stuff."

When Sean heard staff was going to deliver candy, he said he was pretty happy.

"I was getting pretty happy. They gave me this whole bucket and they gave me a movie and one nurse gave me two Reeses, that's my favorite candy," Sean said.

The kids weren't the only ones enjoying the day.

The staff had a good time too and even had a prize for best costume.
