ROANOKE, Va.—
Gidget is a 5 year old Collie/Hound mix who has been at the RVSPCA since the middle of June. Gidget is a large dog with plenty of energy. She would best fit in with an outgoing, active family with older children and no other pets. She has good manners and knows a few tricks. She is also housetrained.
Gidget came to the RVSPCA after being a stray. We have made sure that if she is ever lost again, she can find her way back home because of the microchip installed between her shoulder blades. The RVSPCA is holding a microchip clinic Saturday August 18 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the shelter. Cost is $15 for RVSPCA adoptees, $25 for all others. Owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccination.
