If you haven't yet scheduled your flu shot, or one for your children, now is the time.

Dr. John Moore with Carilion Pediatric Associates says there should be plenty of flu vaccine to go around this year, even though there have been vaccine shortages in the past.

Dr. Moore recommends all children get the flu shot, especially those at high risk of getting complications from the flu. Those would include children with asthma, heart disease or diabetes.
