Missy is an adult cat who came to the RVSPCA in May, 2012 with a litter of four newborn kittens. She is a beautiful calico/white cat with a medium length coat. Missy had been living on her own and was very thin. She and the babies were placed in a foster home. Missy was an excellent mother and the kittens thrived. After 8 weeks in foster care, they returned to the RVSPCA. Her babies have been adopted, Missy has gained some weight, and she is now ready for a home of her own.
Missy is very petite, likes to be petted, and have her coat brushed. She is very clean about herself. Not a picky eater, she will adapt to whatever food is available. She gets along with other cats and can tolerate dogs.
We would like to share some fantastic news. The RVSPCA is the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Community Foundation in support of the CARE (Companion Animal Relief Effort.) The grant will be used to supplement pet food for distribution through our PET Program and to provide emergency care, such as boarding, foster, and/or veterinary care, for pets in need in our community.
