Electrical wiring is to blame for a house fire in Roanoke County.

The Roanoke County fire department says the blaze started a little after 10 p.m. Sunday on Goodman Road.

It started from wiring of a stand alone freezer that was kept on the back porch.

No one was living at the home-- two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

It took three hours to get the flames out.  The home is considered a total loss.

An abandoned house in Roanoke County caught fire Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. for a fire in the 4800 block of Goodman Road.

That's off Yellow Mountain Road, near Garden City and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

No one lived in the house.
