Rusty is a 7-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who came to the RVSPCA via the municipal pound.
He is house-trained, friendly and well-mannered.
Rusty is very treat motivated and knows to sit, shake and lay. He likes going for long walks and does well in the car.
He gets along with most other dogs and would be a great family companion. Anyone interested who has a dog would need to bring their dog into the shelter so that they could meet.
Rusty is quite energetic for a dog his age and a fenced yard is suggested.
The RVSPCA has been honoring the females in the shelter with discounted adoption fees throughout the month of May.
To give the boys some extra attention, adoption fees have been discounted for all male dogs over the age of 1 year to only $30.
All have been neutered, vaccines up to date, and they are microchipped.
