Whiskers is a 12-year-old long haired Turkish Angora cat with striking blue eyes. Her owner was forced to move and was unable to find another home for Whiskers. She is at the RVSPCA waiting for a home. She is a chatty cat and would make a wonderful companion pet. She is friendly with everyone but is not demanding. She enjoys being brushed, likes to curl up in the sunshine or on a lap, and is low maintenance.
We would like to remind everyone to pick up an extra bag of dog or cat food the next time they are at the grocery store. The RVSPCA provides more than 80,000 pounds of pet food for distribution to the pets of homebound seniors and hospice patients, as well as 4 area food pantries. The goal is to keep pets and people united when times get tough and food gets scarce.
