It is night 30 on Dangrayne. Abi pulls carter aside to inform him of the strong 4 alliance among Lisa, Denise, Carter and Michael. Carter’s head is not in it; he doesn’t care. Abi is going to keep up with the illusion that she has the 4th immunity idol.
Lisa chats with Malcolm and tells him that she feels like she took a couple punches and feels dizzy. She thinks Malcolm is playing a brilliant game, strategic but likable. She informs us in a confessional that going to the end with Denise and Malcolm is not a great strategy but betraying their trust opposes who she is.
Reward Challenge
Jeff announces that today’s challenge will pair the castaways with their loved ones. Michael Skupin Jr. comes running out just as goofy as his father. Skupin tells him that he is the best human being he knows. What a slap in the face to his other children, wife and MOTHER!
The rest of the loved ones come out. Carter’s mom is a total Mil….. I mean, she has a body to compete on Survivor. Obviously the athletic genes run in this family. Denise’s boo comes out and we do not care much. Unlike Lisa’s breakdown when her brother comes out. I was moved to tears. Gosh, this girl plays with my emotions every week. Abi’s mother runs out and the two have a Brazilian exchange. Good thing subtitles were invented (wink). Malcolm’s brother joins the group as a doofus, but a lovable younger bro.
The challenge- A survivor will throw a muddy ball to their love one. That person must throw the ball to knock down 5 poles. So congrats loved ones!! You get dirty in less than 5 minutes of being on the island. YAY!! Don’t you love Survivor’s production team?
Every team does well except for Abi. We have found someone worst than her at challenges, her mother! I mean, her mom could be good if it was a cooking or cleaning challenge.
Malcolm wins reward which is not shocking since they are two athletic people. Malcolm chooses Lisa to bring her loved one back to camp. This is a great strategy to reward her loyalty to him. Probst allows him one more pair and Malcolm chooses Skupin.
The loved ones are back at camp and they go straight to strategy. Lisa’s brother wants best for Lisa. He wants to get Lisa’s head out of the sand and to start playing the game. The plan of getting Malcolm out hatch. STOP, Lisa is not feeling it. After a long and exhausting talk, Lisa comes to the realization that she can play the game without being Mrs. goody-goody. It is okay to play dirty. She thinks if Malcolm gets voted out on Lisa’s behalf then he would reward her and not be bitter.
The loved ones have to go bye-bye. But let’s have a Coach moment and utilize a prayer circle. The atheist (Denise) looks at disgust. They pray that whatever God’s will to win this season will be done. They even pause in confusion at the mention that God wants Abi to win.
As they prepare to leave, the loved ones leave their clothes behind. Stay tuned for the uncensored version of this season. Woot-woot.
Immunity Challenge
Castaways collect 3 bags using a raffle hook. Then, swim back to shore to build a pole long enough and sturdy enough to hit a target to release the winning flag.
Abi is sucking in this challenge, again. Like, she is not even trying. Probst is not too kind on her. Lisa performs really well. Denise falls out of this challenge. Lisa is the first to try her pole but it is too short. Carter and Skupin go for it.. NOPE! Malcolm gives a shot and wins immunity! This win is huge for Malcolm because not only does he advance to the final 5. His hidden immunity idol saves him to go to final 4. This guy is untouchable.
Lisa’s plan to blindside Malcolm again is foiled. If Lisa wins this season then she is like Sandra circa Heroes vs. Villains.
It is between Carter and Abi t go to jury. Carter is a threat but Abi is a b!tc#. I didn’t say it but Malcolm said it. He even called her a dementor from the Harry Potter series. She sucks the soul out of everyone. The dementor strikes again by attacking Lisa on the beach. Lisa tries to tell her that she is playing the game therefore she shouldn’t be mad that she is going home because Lisa switched sides. Then, Denise jumps in and tries to keep the peace. Abi acts arrogant because of her “idol.” She reinforce that she is not going home tonight.
At tribal, Carter pleas that the alliance told him that they want to take the person who deserves it than the person who they can beat. Michael refers to him as a son. It is hard for him to consider even voting out Carter. Lisa openly confesses that she would rather sit next to someone who she thinks she can beat. She wishes she was nobler but why make it hard on herself. The tribe votes and Spicoli is shocked that it’s his time to go.
