The Virginia Museum of Transportation will present Safety Day on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Families are invited to attend Safety Day to learn how to stay safe in their homes and in their communities.
As part of the mission, this will be a free admission day to all who want to attend.
Visitors will have access to the Museum's exhibits and safety demonstrations throughout the day.
The highlight of the day will be the BB&T Texting and Driving Simulator. This will expose teen drivers to the dangers of texting while driving with a state of the art virtual reality simulator.
There will be limited parking in the Brandon Parking lot across from the Museum for the day.
Visitors are encouraged to use the Campbell Street garage for parking.
Admission is FREE!
