Location didn't stop 13 couples from either tying the knot or exchanging vows at Ben David Jewelers in Danville.

Lamont and Tasha Rouse were one of those couples. Now they call Valentine's Day the best day of their lives.

"It was a last minute decision. We had been thinking about getting married on Valentine's Day anyway but hadn't really got into doing the planning, Tasha said.

Though they carried on a family tradition and had a small wedding with close friends and family, the location was anything but traditional.

"So when we heard about it, we were like everything's pretty much already planned we just need to get out outfits and get down there and do it," Tasha said.

Ben David Jewelers hosted the weddings and paid for it all, from the minister to the cake, even a photographer and flowers for their special day.
Who would have ever guessed this day would be spent in a jewelry store?

"For anyone that looks at it and thinks oh they're getting married in a jewelery store I don't think that really matters I think what matters is that the two people that are getting married, they truly love each other," said manager of Ben David Jewelers, Stephanie Mitchen.

If free wasn't enough, the store gave away a honeymoon trip to Greensboro and a dinner for two at Outback Steakhouse.

The Rouse's were the lucky winners.

"We have a six month old son and just being a family, growing together, loving each other, getting old together," Tasha said.

"That's right, she sums it up," her new husband said.
