People are kicking off Christmas around southwest Virginia.
The town of Vinton was aglow with the spirit of the season Thursday night.
The holiday parade in Vinton boasts many floats but maybe none as elaborate as the one belonging to the Parrotheads of the Blue Ridge.
The group prides itself as die-hard Jimmy Buffett fans and as a group whose mission is to give back
And Thursday night was all about showing the community a great time and many of these parrtoheads come out every year.
So even though it was cold out there the Parrotheads brought a little of thw tropics to warm things up, complete with pink flamingos
