Three people escape early-morning house fire in Roanoke

A Roanoke house fire injured a firefighter and someone inside the home early Thursday morning.

Roanoke Fire-EMS was called out to the fire shortly after 3:30 a.m. Thursday at 2232 Mountain View Terrace. The fire was under control about a half-hour later.

Three people were inside the home when the fire started. One of them suffered minor burns and was treated at the scene. A firefighter sustained a steam burn, and was treated at the scene.

Investigators have not determined what started the fire.

The fire caused about $105,000 worth of damage to the home.
