Three Virginia cities rank in Most Well-Read list

Reading is apparently a favorite pasttime among some Virginians.

According to Amazon’s new study, three Virginia cities rank in the top 20 of their list of most well-read cities. That's more cities than any other state.

Alexandria took the top spot, while Arlington ranked seventh and Richmond ranked 20th.

The study was done based on most books, magazines and newspapers Amazon customers bought in the past year.
